SMALLHOLDER AND IN-CHAIN SURVEY
The first smallholder survey was conducted during the second week of October (12-13 October 2024), involving 45 smallholders. The survey took place in two key locations: Antapan and Candikuning, both of which are known for their agricultural activities. After completing the smallholder survey, the research team moved on to the in-chain survey, which focused on collecting insights from traditional retailers, modern retailers, and suppliers. The survey covered 8 traditional retailers located in two important markets: Badung Traditional Market and Batu Kandik Traditional Market, both of which are critical hubs for agricultural product distribution. Additionally, the team surveyed 4 key suppliers based in Candikuning, who play a vital role in linking local farmers to the wider market.
